Monday our staff will be launching our distance-learning program. Parents and students will be able to access these various classes through links to their teachers’ classrooms. Some of these will be “Live” and others will be pre-recorded. Please contact your child’s teachers or myself if you have any questions.
I am sure we will run into a few glitches but I am certain we will be able to work through any problems we may encounter. Even though many, if not all, of the staff will be telecommuting from other locations you may still call the school at 235-8972 and your phone messages will be routed to the appropriate person through our email system. Teachers will be contacting homes on a regular basis to be in contact and adjust for any individual needs.
The pandemic is causing many disruptions to our normal lives and routines. It is very easy to become focused on the negative parts of our lives. The consequences we are all feeling can be incredibly stressful. Please make sure you are taking care of your mental and physical health. Be sure to get regular exercise, eat good wholesome foods, and get plenty of rest. Do the best you can to limit your contact with others and practice social distancing. We must all work together to limit the spread of this virus to protect our loved ones and reduce the amount of time it will take us to return to normal.
